1, 10 - люблю.
2 - прекрасна и напоминает о прошлогоднем дне Святого Патрика.

То, что на русском, честно послушала. Звучит, надо сказать, куда менее пугающе, чем я ожидала)

Было время, в приступах любознательности, старательно переводил все буржуинсие песни которые слушал. Ну там музыка красивая, голос об чем то поёть душевно. А об чем поют?
А поют, оказывается, об том же самом чуть ли не теми же словами - душевные метания и личные переживания, бухло, наркоманские приходы, трудовые и строевые песни.

Естественно. Народу много, тем - не очень. Как с теорией про сюжеты романов, которых якобы тоже ограниченное количество.
Проблема в том, что они, в основном, поют хорошо (во всяком случае, на мой вкус).
А вот наши, за редкими исключениями, поют странно. И хорошо ещё - если хотя бы своё, а не чужое в вольном переводе и менее вольной аранжировке.

Тут, как говорится, "Но любим мы их не за это!"
У меня есть две "любимые" песенки, в которых замечательно всё - идиотский текст, мерзкая музыка, противный голос.
Но как слышу, так немедленно накрывает бурей памятных воспоминаний, что оторваться не могу, а по небритым щекам текут горячие слёзы узнавания.
